This beautiful coffee has bright upfront flavors of blood orange or candied red pomelo, floral flavors in mid-palate similar to violet and jasmine, with dark chocolate complexity melded into the mid-palate and finish. An immensely impressive coffee which shines on pour over or aeropress.

There will be additional nano-lots from the JNP team to follow this coffee, with one of the coffees being scored at 92 points! The next two nano-lots to follow after the Bavyeyi will also be sun dried naturals but they are from the Muyinga region of Burundi.

Bavyeyi coffee was named by JNP's founder Jeanine in honor of her own mother who grew up in Ngozi and helped her family grow coffee; Bavyeyi means "parents" in Kirundi. JNP Coffee encourages transformational change for local coffee farmers by promoting gender equality, supporting financial literacy education, and developing leadership skills.
